OUR MISSION:

On an ongoing basis, the National Association for Black Veterans, Inc. (NABVETS), will provide strategic advocacy for its membership with Congress and Federal administrations; State administrations; County and City legislators; and other agencies and organizations.

NABVETS will provide personal advocacy for “ALL” Veterans seeking claims against the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and foster community development by creating positive lifestyles for Veterans and their families. NABVETS will generate and preserve the historical record for minority Veterans.

OUR VISION:

NABVETS envisions a future where it is the premier professional organization representing the interests of Black Veterans worldwide. Our goal is to reach 50 percent of the National and International Black Veteran population as our membership base; establish Region, State, and City Chapters with a population exceeding 250,000.

We strive to connect with younger active duty and Veterans who have recently separated from the military. Serving “ALL” Veterans and their families, primarily low-income Veterans, is our utmost priority. To achieve this, we will obtain sufficient revenue and generate income for operations to meet NABVET’s members’ needs.
